Fauntleroy Place will also feature Hancock Fabrics and 185 apartment homes

Northwest Resource Management Group (NWRMG) of Seattle, Washington announced today the signing of premiere grocer Whole Foods Market as the anchor tenant of Fauntleroy Place, a mixed -use development at the corner of Fauntleroy and 39th Avenue S.W. in West Seattle (this is where Fauntleroy meets S.W. Alaska St.).

"Signing Whole Foods is an absolute home run for Fauntleroy Place," said Steve Hartley, principal for NWRMG. "We are thrilled to bring one of the nations fastest growing, premier grocers to the heart of West Seattle. This will be a very attractive addition to the neighborhood," Hartley added.

Preliminary plans for the Whole Foods Market at Fauntleroy Place include 50,000 square feet of retail space and four floors of underground parking (254 spaces dedicated to Whole Foods customers). In addition, Hancock Fabrics will remain as a tenant on the site occupying the other 14,000 square feet of retail space.

Above the retail center, NWRMG plans 185 apartment homes, most of which will have spectacular views of the Cascades and the city, helping to fill the need for rental housing near the downtown Seattle area.
